Ferrofluid explosion on me

Today I went and spent some time with Randy at the Engineering building because it is Engineering week and I played with what is called ferrofluid and the way I got this way is that two magnets went together and it splashed on me. It was funny.

Spring IWA formal Dance

Friday the 4th of February was the annual IWA spring formal dance. I went with my sweetheart Randy. It was a lot of fun. We had dinner with my IWA chapter and then we went to the dance. Jan Daines my IWA leader did dinner for us. I enjoy spending time with Randy and all of the others there at the dinner and at the dance. My favorite part of the evening was when we watched part of the movie Singing in the Rain. I got to see my favorite part before it was time to leave the dance. I love the part where they sing the good morning song.
That's all for now.

Life

It has been a week or so since I have last posted anything. It has been so weird not being in school. I have taken some breaks before, but it was crazy on the first day when my roommates were going to school I felt weird that I wasn't going. I have been looking for a job and it is going alright. I have been knitting some fun things lately. I am making a baby blanket and I am working on a throw blanket that I have been working on for about three years now. I have just been doing the project when I get bits and pieces of time and also when I remember that I am working on that project. Well that is all that I have to say for now. Have a wonderful day my friends.

Fun hat

This past week Randy and I had a lot of fun making hats from the knifty knitters looms. Randy thought that we should do a hat with a brim on it. Here are the pictures from the project.

The simple things of the gospel

On Sunday Elder Ballard spoke at the CES fireside. I really enjoyed his talk about remember the simplicity of the gospel. To enjoy the plainness of the gospel. As I reflected after wards I thought of how because of the simple and small things of the gospel that it provides such a boost. It gets the fire within burning bright. I know it is true.

Words of Wisdom

The effect of our words and acts is tremendous in this world. Every moment of life you are changing to a degree the lives of the whole world. … So, it’s not the surroundings, it isn’t the positions; the thing that will influence [others] in this world, are personalities. No matter what you are people will feel and recognize this. You radiate, you can’t hide it. You may pretend something else, but that will not affect people.
